Guitarist, Teacher, Performer
Bio / Lessons
I was fortunate enough to be given an opportunity to start teaching guitar when I was 17 years old. That opportunity uncovered a life quest that I have now shared with countless people of all ages and playing levels.
I still learn something every day from every student I teach. Whether you're aspiring to be the next best guitar player in the world, or if you're just the guy/gal with some extra time who wants to strum for fun, helping you better understand music and the guitar remains an integral part of my life passion.
Every lesson is custom tailored to your needs and stylistic preferences. I am classically trained and well-versed in rock, metal and "shred guitar;" classical, acoustic folk, country, and pop. I can and will teach at least a little bit of every style. You will learn your favorite songs and the technique and theory that applies to each song. Lessons may include musical analysis, fretboard analysis, interval ear training, identifying chord progressions, chord-melodies, how to read notation, performance, recording, improvisation, composition, and anything else you may request.
I am commited to helping you acheive your full potential as a guitarist and musician by evoking and fostering the passion that I believe is already within you.
